Massimo Ammaniti, MD, a child psychiatrist & psychoanalyst, currently serves as a professor of Developmental Psychopathology and chairman of the Faculty of Infant and Adolescent Clinical Psychology at University La Sapienza, in Rome, Italy. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the World Association of Infant Mental Health. He is a major advisor to the Italian Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
